This demo of TeleFinder/User 2.6 can be used to connect to the Spider Island BBS at (714) 730-5785 ( 24 hours a day ). If you've never seen TeleFinder before, TeleFinder/User is the equivalent of "SmartComm" and other terminal programs, while Group Edition Host is the BBS host program. Your clients would use "TeleFinder/User" to call your Group Edition Host.

Version 2.6 is fully system 7 compatible. It is 32 bit clean, responds to AppleEvents, and supports alias files and the new desktop.
The programs, support files and assoctiated documentation are provided in "self-extracting archive" format. These files can open themselves and expand the enclosed applications and documents into working copies on your hard disk. The archives were created with Compact Pro, by Bill Goodman.

How to use the demo:
• Using "TeleFinder/User 2.6" only
You can use TF/User to connect to the Spider Island Host under the Guest account, the phone number and password are already entered. Once you've connected to the Spider Island BBS, you can browse in the conferences ( public bulletin boards ), send electronic mail and transfer files. The guest account has access to these features and a nice collection of public domain and shareware software programs.
• Set up your own demo host
If you'd like to experiment further, you can set up your own host on a trial basis. Call Spider Island for a copy of the Host Demo. The "TF Host Demo" archive contains a 5 user host and User Manager for changing user privileges. The date shown in parenthesis is the expiration date of the host.
